“Staring at the blank page before you.
Open up the dirty window.
Let the sun illuminate the words that you cannot find.
Reaching for something in the distance.
So close you can almost taste it.
Release you inhibitions.
Feel the rain on your skin.
No one else can do it for you.”

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
Something about this quote catches my eye. I believe its true that when there is a story within you that you are afraid to write, it almost seems to beg you to unleash it upon the world. Now I know that some of you smarty pants out there might be like, “Oh, stories are just little ditty’s that come to you randomly. Then they disappear.” This is not true. Stories basically haunt their writers until they are written. Sometimes the writer is unable to sleep. Some even claim that they hear whispers in the back of their mind saying, “You know if you just gave me a chance…I’d could make a really good tale.” Other writers get writers block, not because they don’t know what to write but because another piece of writing is calling their name.
This quote is a warning to all writers. If you don’t write it, it will still remain with you. Whether it slips into your dreams, or calls out to you while you are trying to write…it will always be there. So take a chance, write the story within.
